The Partner team exists to build a thriving partner (worker) community, with access to every shift everywhere.

As Marketplace Strategy & Operations Lead you will own a vertical within our marketplace and lead multiple client projects within that vertical, including end-to-end planning and execution, project scoping, initial launch, daily operations, and sunset. Your north star will be to relentlessly deliver 100% shift fill rate while maintaining a high bar for quality across projects. You will monitor daily metrics, proactively identify issues and opportunities, and execute initiatives to increase fill rate (e.g. onboard additional workers, restructure shift availability, send reminders, offer bonuses). You will partner with Sales, Customer Success, Growth, Support, Payments, Product, and other teams as relevant to achieve your goals. You will:

  • Act as a “GM of sorts”, leading multiple client projects including planning and execution, from project scoping to initial launch to daily operations to sunset
  • Monitor daily metrics, proactively identify issues and opportunities, and execute initiatives to deliver 100% shift fill rate while maintaining a high bar for quality
  • Develop, execute, and optimize programs to improve shift fill rate, quality, and efficiency
  • Oversee a team of hourly Operations Specialists who will support you in daily shift execution:
  • Manage daily scheduling, execution, and payments based on client / project needs
  • Communicate with workers before, during, and after shifts to answer questions related to their work and performance
  • Monitor and triage in-shift issues, taking action where possible and escalating when required
  • Use tools like Google Sheets, SQL, and whatever else you will need to gather and analyze data to develop insights and inform decisions

Qualifications

You will be a great fit for this role if you get excited about leading projects from both a 30,000 and a 3 foot level, are a self starter, and enjoy the rigor and challenges that come with day-to-day data-driven operations.

  • 4-7 years of work experience in a strategic and/or data-driven role (e.g. strategy consulting, strategic operations, business operations, program management)
  • Committed to our mission of empowering workers with technology
  • Self starter with high energy and proven ability to roll up your sleeves to get things done
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with anyone - clients, executives, team members, hourly workers
  • Live and breathe data, using data as the cornerstone for all your decisions
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets)
  • Experience with SQL or a strong willingness to learn
