The US Jobs Report claims to measure job growth and unemployment in the United States, yet it doesn’t include the millions of independent or “flexible” workers that contribute greatly to the health of our economy.
It is past time for this growing segment of the labor force to be represented in the regularly reported job figures that businesses and government agencies rely on to make key employment decisions.
