Get Shift Done, a Shiftsmart Initiative, has been named to Fast Company’s prestigious annual list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2021. The initiative earned the standing of No. 1 in the Not-for-Profit category as well as No. 28 on the 2021 Top 50 Most Innovative Companies list.
It has been a privilege to serve American communities through the Get Shift Done initiative. At Shiftsmart we have always placed an emphasis on a people-first experience, and as the pandemic struck we knew we had to do something to help the hospitality workers registered on our app who were losing shifts at alarming rates.
Since 2008, Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies has been the definitive source for recognizing the organizations that are transforming industries and shaping society. This year’s list features 463 businesses from 29 countries. Last year brought unprecedented challenges and Fast Company Deputy Editor David Lidsky, who oversaw the issue with Senior Editor Amy Farley claimed this year’s honorees “exhibit fearlessness, ingenuity, and creativity in the face of crisis.”
